RONAN COX
CIMA® CPWA® Managing Director and Wealth Advisor
Ronan has more than two decades of experience as a wealth advisor, including many years at major Wall Street firms. His work focuses on holistic financial planning and helping clients pursue their financial goals. He has worked as an independent advisor since 2019 and is part of the Fincadia team within Arete Wealth. When providing investment advisory services, he acts as a fiduciary in his clients’ best interests.
Ronan graduated from University College Dublin with a Bachelor of Commerce in Banking and Finance, and completed a Diploma in Legal Studies from Dublin Institute of Technology, as a post-graduate.
Ronan holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® certification, administered by the Investments & Wealth Institute ® and taught in conjunction with Yale School of Management.
Ronan holds the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® certification, administered by the Investments & Wealth Institute® and taught in conjunction with Yale School of Management.
Ronan is also a licensed Life Insurance Agent.
We conduct our insurance business through our field marketing organization (FMO) Simplicity Group.
Tasks and Responsibilities on the Team:
Ronan oversees financial planning, including budget analysis, estate-planning reviews, portfolio asset allocation, portfolio trading, and the assessment of life insurance, long-term care insurance, and annuity needs.

ALEX CHRISTIE
Managing Director, Operations & Investment Specialist
Alex has worked in financial-services operations since 1998, with experience in project management, equity trading, and business processing. As a certified Six Sigma Green Belt, he applies a structured approach to improving processes and supporting client service. He works closely with the advisory team to coordinate operations and respond to clients’ needs.
Alex graduated magna cum laude from St. John’s University with a B.A. in finance and spent a semester studying abroad at John Cabot University in Rome, Italy.
Tasks and Responsibilities on the Team:
Alex oversees the team’s operational activities, trading, money movement, and administrative matters. He coordinates responses to clients’ service needs and manages IPO trading and syndicate activities, along with paperwork relating to private equity placements, special purpose vehicles (SPVs), and alternative investments.
